What is LPG'

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LP Gas) is composed predominately of the following, hydrocarbons or a mixture of all (or any) of them: Propane, Propylene, Butane, Buylene.

Why does it smell'

LP Gas is odourised with a distinctive smell (like rotting cabbage) to assist in the detection of leaks.

Is it safe'

Unlike petrol, LPG is strictly controlled by State and Federal regulations. The Fuel is contained in a pressure vessel and even in the event of rupture and ignition, the fuel burns like a barbecue jet and does not explode as is the case with automotive accidents involving petrol.

Where can I fill the vehicle with LPG'

There are over 2500 service stations dispensing LPG throughout Australia. It is almost impossible to drive to any part of Australia and not be able to refuel with LPG.
